The Product Agility Lead is responsible for the education, adoption and scaling of agile ways of working and product with all Product Teams (includes PO, SM and Developers) and Leaders at a Product level in order to establish a common understanding across the product. The Product Agility Lead will evaluate the health of the portfolio and respective products in order to identify opportunity for improvements around scaling agile and product management, and help the leaders and teams mature their product vision, planning and delivery. This role will be accountable for partnering with leaders (VP, ED, and MD across the portfolio) and the Technical Leads to develop a strategy to set and achieve the agile and product goals for their respective products. This role will also be accountable for building and maintain a healthy relationship with the leaders in Technology and Business as we transform from projects to products.

• Formally create, in conjunction with the product leaders, and execute against a product level coaching plan and communicate the plan to the Product Teams and the team's leader chain (up to Product Leadership).

• Ensure Product Teams and leaders can demonstrate their learning based on the educational goals by the end of the challenge.

• Formally review the progress, outcomes, and observations (positive and negative) of the product level coaching plan with the product leaders and the portfolio.

The Product Agility Lead will be the resident expert of agile and product principles and related methodologies and practices within their respective portfolio. As such, these individuals will need to be involved with internal and external agile and product networks in order to stay current on best practices and strategies related to this way of working. Partnership and learning are cornerstones of the agile and product mindset, thus the Product Agility Lead will need to actively participate in the thought leadership within these Agile and Product communities and seek out opportunities to continuously improve their own skills in order to better support the products.

• Participate and promote internal Community of Practices to drive a learning culture.

• Participate in external professional organizations relevant to one's field.

• Willingness to attend and present at conferences, trade shows, or industry events, as appropriate.

Training and Certification

The Product Agility Lead will be responsible for understanding and developing shared internal training and learning materials that apply the principles of agile and product. They will develop strategies to leverage these materials with leaders, and thus be accountable for ensuring all leaders and Product Teams understand these concepts and how they apply to the working processes of their product. The Product Agility Lead will be responsible for the active coaching of Product Teams and leaders, facilitation and coaching of quarterly planning events, and development of product specific coaching plans to mature the Product Teams and leader's skills and mindset.

• Contribute to and/or create instructional content (including training programs, written procedures, or any other instructional material).

• Identify and promote enhancements to coaching and the learning objectives for teams and leaders.

• Recommend and coordinate training or certification programs for product teams and leaders.

• Deliver formal instruction to others (for example, lead classroom training or certification sessions).

• Coach leaders and teams in driving a learning culture rooted in product, agile, lean and technology.

Consulting and Process Improvement

The Product Agility Lead will be responsible for coordinating with partners outside of the Product Teams in order to align leaders and teams on outcome based deliverables and drive dependency awareness. The Product Agility Lead will work closely with partners, particularly Scrum Masters, Product Managers and Engineer Managers, to evaluate a Product Teams agile and product maturity and strategies to address gaps. The Product Agility Lead will also work closely with VP and Directors to establish agile and product maturity strategies for the products, coach and educate one-on-one with leaders, provide direct feedback based on observations, and be a catalyst for promoting a learning culture.

• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that newly-implemented strategies are working as planned.

• Demonstrate product level adoption by the Product Teams and leaders of the best practices and repeatable processes.

• Plan and/or execute strategies in scaling the operations for Enterprise Agility.

• Provide subject matter expertise to others outside of own work group (e.g., internal customers, merchants, vendors).

• Proactively provide feedback to leaders and individuals based on direct observations.

• Partner with other teams (e.g., internal customers, merchants, vendors) to define needs and implement solutions.

Coaching Team

Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the team of agile and technical coaches to share experiences, develop shared training material, and ensure a consistent coaching experience and base-level set of learning for the Product Teams and leaders.

• Proactively provide feedback to other coaches.

• Actively contribute to the evolution of the coaching product.

• Share internal and external learnings with coaches to elevate the coaching team.

• Mentor Dojo Coaches and individuals, such Scrum Masters and Product Owners.

• Provide support/backfill to other coaches, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years Agile coaching experience

• 4+ years Agile work experience across a variety of Agile teams and Agile methodologies and frameworks.

• Leading large organizations/enterprise through Agile and Product transformations

• Leading coaching and learning programs for product teams

• Leading coaching of leaders in technology, product and business organizations

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Agile certifications (Kanban, Scrum Master, LeSS/Scaling, Product Owner, Coaching, etc.)

• Lean, Kanban, Continuous Improvement, Process experience/certifications

• DevOps experience (build automation, test automation, test driven development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), Infrastructure as code, etc.)

• Technical/development experience (java/o.o.p. coding, scripting, infrastructure development, application development)

• Design, UX experience
