DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, analyze, develop, code, test, and program applications for iPhone and iPad to satisfy both business and functional requirements. Collaborate with mobile and web services development teams to create integrated solutions involving client server architecture using REST and SOAP based web services. Follow Agile methodologies and ensure team follows suit. Work with the product and UI design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases and translate that into a technical solution. Create work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation. Support project releases. Set strategic and technical direction across functional teams, solve mission critical problems, and mentor junior developers. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve customer engagement. Analyze user stories and create requirements for application teams and server teams. Drive the integration strategy between the application and web services to create a complete solution. Analyze new tools available for continuous integration and source control systems and integrate them based on the requirement into the development ecosystem. Create code review guidelines based on industry standards and experience. This position requires 10% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Applications Developer, iOS Consultant, Software Engineering Associate Manager, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following skills: Using Swift, Objective C, or C++ to develop mobile applications for Apple App Store; Operating various iOS frameworks including Core Data and UIKit; Using location services or Map Kit; UI Animations; Security architecture; Networking; Inter application communications; Keychain services; Implementing iOS push notifications, their structure, and setting iOS provisioning certificates; SQLite DB; MVC design pattern; Handling mobile application memory optimization techniques, performance enhancements, and integration with REST and SOAP based web services; driving technical teams, mentoring and managing resources; and Working with Machine learning technologies on mobile platforms. This position requires two (2) years of experience with: designing architectural patterns in iOS with MVVM or MVVMC; and creating reusable application components.
