Level: Associate - Principal

Position Summary:

Multiple full-time positions are currently available for a consultant/instructor role ranging in experience level from Associate to Principal. Candidates must be proactive, professional self-starters with cloud technology experience. Position responsibilities include:

• Working on consulting and advisory projects, analyzing new technologies, building platform and software solutions
• Delivering technical training, both in the classroom and online, using RX-M’s broad range of cloud native curriculum
• Creating new training material and updating current material for the latest innovations in technologies and systems
• Contributing to open source projects and working within the open source community

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of consulting and/or teaching experience or 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud technology
• Strong presentation and/or classroom management skills
• Ability to assimilate complex information and organize it into easily digestible form
• Technical writing and/or training curriculum development skills
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to stay flexible through growth and change
• Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently
• General Linux skills
• Working knowledge of Git, GitHub and markdown

• Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and OpenStack
• DevOps & CI/CD
• Microservices and distributed application architecture
• Docker (Container Technologies)
• Kubernetes (Orchestration Tools)
• Big Data/Data Science/Machine Learning
• Programming languages (Go, Python, Java, etc.)
• NATS/Kafka (distributed messaging)
• gRPC/Apache Thrift (modern RPC)
• NoSQL and distributed state management
• Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
