We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Stack Developer (with a 80% back-end / 20% front-end focus) to help scale our product and company to a game-changing industry leader.

Working as a key member of a small team, you will be responsible for building smart solutions to tricky problems, from their initial conceptual stages through to deployment to customers.

We already experience significant scale in high dependency environments - handling over 2000 clients sending hundreds of thousands in gift links per day at the peak.

You will be working on various customer-facing applications within our system. Our back-end tech stack is a mixture of Nodejs microservices and PHP (Laravel framework) and deployed on Docker on AWS, backed by MySQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch databases, with Vuejs and React projects on the front end.

Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:

• Building new backend microservices
• Maintaining and extending our existing API and microservices
• Contributing to our front-end projects or developing internal tooling

Requirements:

• An excellent grasp of Node.js
• Experience with MongoDB / MySQL
• Experience consuming and creating RESTful APIs at scale
• Experience writing unit tests and feature tests
• Proven knowledge and experience in Git version control
• Experience with Docker in a production environment
• Experience working with and contributing to a devops environment (testing, CI, CD, automation)
• Experience with AWS (or similar cloud platform) in a production environment ting to a devops environment (testing, CI, CD, automation)
