Software Engineer Devops Transformation

The DevOps Transformation Engineer is responsible for setting up, managing, and evangelizing the culture, practices, processes and tools that enable the business of software development and operations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of agile and the various points at which development and operations could be improved by better process improvement, tools, automation and metrics that can be gathered to improve CCB's transformation.

• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.

• 6+ years of overall experience with an emphasis on information technology

• Subversion, GIT/Stash and Bitbucket, Jenkins administration and deployment skills, training, and experience.

• Implementation and administration of containers using Docker, Kubernetes , AWS, Puppet, Chef and Ansible for automation

• Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.

• Experience with polyglot database technology skills like Cassandra, Elastic, AWS-RDS, and MYSQL

• Experience in middleware technologies like Tomcat , WebSphere and Liberty Profile

• Experience with Monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace, Wily, Grafana, Splunk.

• Experience in scripting languages like Python , Shell Scripting or Ruby.

• Experience in messaging platforms like Kafka, IBM MQ , Rabbit MQ.

• Good understanding of the SRE concepts

• Experience with troubleshooting Java technologies is a must

• 6+ years of experience leading transformational cross-functional IT initiatives

• Strong execution mind-set to manage and track progress against transformation goals
