The role is within our Wealth Management Document Management team, providing innovative digital solutions to improve Client experience. You will work with a great team of people both within Plano and globally and have the opportunity to influence the design and architecture of the solutions we create.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Development experience using Java
* Strong technical understanding of Java Core concepts, including memory management, multi-threading, REST based services and Spring.
* Front End development experience using either React or Angular
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, maintenance and software improvement
* Strong experience with Java/Spring Boot
* Strong experience within front-end development, preferably with Angular
* Strong experience with web technologies: HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript, WebPack, node, npm
* Experience with single page apps connecting to REST / API services
* Experience in server-side development with Java 8
* Experience of RESTful API and micro services design
* Strong demonstration of 'quality first' software engineering process experience: code review, Test Driven Design (TDD), automated unit/integration test, CI / CD systems
* Fearlessness and embrace of all things Computer Science and awareness of wide-range of technologies
* Strong automated testing discipline
* Strong grasp of modern software development concepts such as SOLID principals

Preferred qualifications:
* Gaia Cloud foundry experience
* Angular programming experience
* Been part of agile delivery teams (Scrum a bonus)
* Knowledge of Spring, Junit (Mockito or Powermock)
* Strength in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of security concerns online and off
