Gift cards are among the top five most popular gifts across Europe, and number one gift in Germany. They’re also one of the most common incentives used for employee rewards, loyalty programs and promotional campaigns. In 2020, the sales of gift cards were 475 billion € worldwide – this is not a small industry! Gift cards are also a very profitable product for brands and retailers, who can generate up to 10% of their overall revenue through gift cards. The gift card industry keeps growing year after year, and we have identified a need from brands and incentive companies to receive support in understanding the potential of this category or how to penetrate this market. What is our mission? We want to be the “go to agency” in Europe for leading brands looking for industry insights, technology and business acceleration. We fully trust each other and focus primarily on results. What would be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Performing market analysis and research on competition
• Creating content for company social media and website
• Optimisation of company marketing materials, such as presentations
• Supporting Account Managers with tasks related to existing and prospective clients
• Supporting team in creating of proposal materials for new leads and campaigns
• Supporting team in New business acquisition:  build up a strong network of potential partners to set up corporations in behalf of our existing clients: Calling/meeting brands and agencies to pitch projects
• Database creation & optimisation
• Preparing of monthly client reports.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for a self-motivating student, taking on a compulsory internship as part of their business/marketing degree. We want a creative and energetic addition to our team, with a hands-on attitude, based in Berlin. Main skills:

• You bring business development / marketing experience along with knowledge of business and marketing from your BA/MA degree.
• You have sucessfully completed an internship in marketing or business development.
• You’re an expert in creating eye-catching presentations that deliver a punchy and convincing message.
• You work autonomously and drive projects on your own.
• Your creative eye enables you to produce eye-catching visuals for LinkedIn content.
• You enjoy working on fast-moving start-ups and new challenges excite you.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are a native (or equivalent) English speaker. Ideally, you also speak German. Additional languages are such as French, Italian Dutch, Spanish are a big plus.
