Melinda Maria is seeking a motivated and creative Associate Creative Director to join our fast growing team.

Position Overview: 

The Associate Creative Director is a hands-on position responsible for creating and managing the day-to-day creative output of the brand across all communication channels and platforms, including ideation, copywriting, design direction, production, scheduling, and coordination of content. This role requires strong creative, marketing, design, analytics, communication, and organizational skills. 


·       Develop, maintain, and execute cross-channel content calendar 

·       Produce product shoots, social media content creation, etc.  

·       Create and implement marketing ideas and strategies 

·       Write and edit engaging copy for all social platforms that are native to each channel for the most amplification and engagement

·       Write and edit compelling marketing emails, SMS, and ads to help maximize open rate, click-through rate, and conversion 

·       Create content across print, digital, and video for both retail and wholesale categories  

·       Maintain the brand voice across multiple channels, ensuring consistency in messaging 

·       Utilize content planning software to organize daily postings for optimal execution

·       Analyze performance based on different metrics, and report key findings and strategic optimizations

·       Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects

·       Attend briefings/status meetings, lead creative brainstorms, pitch concepts in a compelling manner, communicate and monitor project progress

·       Ensure work is of the highest quality, reflects brand standards, and is on budget and on time 

·       Identify opportunities to improve creative output and process

·       Provide creative quality control over concepts and execution 

·       Balance creative vision with business objectives and priorities 

·       Be savvy about new innovations and industry trends 

Qualifications / Skills:

·       Bachelor’s Degree required

·       3+ years relevant experience in an agency or in-house agency environment on the brand side, developing and executing multimedia, multifaceted marketing campaigns, and product launch strategies 

·       A strong portfolio that demonstrates originality, innovation, and multi-disciplinary thinking

·       High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite 

·       Graphic design experience a BIG plus 

·       Strong understanding and experience with the creative process and how to execute output in design, art direction, and copy 

·       Strong copywriting and editing skills  

·       Familiarity using cloud-based solutions; Google Docs, Google Analytics 

·       SEO and Digital Marketing experience including Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, etc.  

·       Experience working with photographers, directors, and vendors 

·       Creative energy, confidence, self-motivation

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project  management and time management skills 

·       Knowledge and understanding of Melinda Maria’s product and brand
