Job Description
JPMorgan Wealth Management Technology is seeking a hands-on site reliability engineer, who is experienced in automating the operation and monitoring of systems that facilitate full investment cycle, from portfolio construction to portfolio execution and trading. The candidate will be part of the Managed Accounts Technology team and have good system integration knowledge, cloud computing, database knowledge and communication skills to work with the stakeholders and develop automated solutions.
Successful candidate:
* Will be part of the high-caliber technical team that works closely with the managed accounts developers on end-to-end solutions
* Must be curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, motivated by complex technical problems
* Should be able to work individually or as part of a global team to achieve project goals

Will be responsible for full lifecycle: Evaluation, Design, Integration, Support, Troubleshooting, Packaging, Deployment, Monitoring, Automation Scripting, etc.

Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and Agile development practice

Required Experience and Skills:

At least 5 years of experience in a site reliability or software engineer environment with a focus in DevOps or site reliability automation.

• Strong Programming skills - needs to be able to code, leverage APIs, and understand security, authentication and data structures

• Highly proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or NodeJS

• Public/Private Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, OpenStack)

• Agile development experience or equivalent in a fast-paced development environment

• Strong database management for the most current MSSQL / Oracle / Sybase versions

• Good understanding in data persistence (SQL or noSQL) data paradigms

• Solid skills in database performance fine tuning and optimizing poorly performing queries, stored procedures
