This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
* Proficient experience in JAVA/J2EE, Python/Scala, Sprint Boot, Microservices.
* Solid understanding of Hadoop technologies (YARN, Hive, Impala, MR, Spark, etc.)
* Good exposure on working with different kind of file formats like Avro, Parquet, ORC etc.,
* Proficient in cloud eco system, In-depth knowledge on s3,glue,lamda,elastic search & streaming technologies like Kafka, Kinesis or Spark Streaming
* Proficient with Unix/Linux (building/assembling packages, shell scripts & configuration management)
* Experience working with Vendors/Open Source in the Hadoop ecosystem
* Knowledge of enabling Kerberos and best practices for securing data a plus
* Cloudera eco system experience is plus.
* Machine Learning and Analytics knowledge is plus.
* Knowledge of the open source community (opening issues, tracking issues and identifying problematic issues ahead of time by tracking open JIRA issues in the community)
