Apollo Brokers is looking for an experienced Python Engineer. This is an early engineering job position where your work and decisions will make a big impact on the whole product.

Timezone and region:  LATAM or NA (timezone UTC-3 UTC -8)

Compensation range:  $60k-$80k/year

More about the role: Founders at Apollo Brokers are looking for an engineer who can work with them and the rest of the team on optimizing the product which changes the game in the insurance industry. Good English skills and business logic are necessary since you will be working closely with the founder on implementing and improving business logic on the product.

Stack

• Python 3.8 + Django Backend
• Ubuntu on AWS

• PostgreSQL databases
• Internal front-end in bootstrap/vanilla JS, external front-end in React

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with Python
• Experience working with Flask or Django
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Clearly communicate complex concepts verbally in English
• Autonomous and proactive

Bonus:

• Experience working with REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs
