Your impact as Web Developer at NN Investment Partners

You are in the driver’s seat helping us become a top tier asset manager in client experience. We continuously improve our serverless front end applications and web development. We work in an ever-changing environment and stay on top of all the latest technologies. You have the opportunity to develop technical designs from start to finish. You know what is needed and how to build it with your team. Only the best online solutions are good enough for our clients.

All of our products provide a high performance: it works properly and smooth and our clients are able to find all necessary content. If there is a new initiative, you are able to further elaborate this and to consider what it should look like digitally. Next, you will pitch this with such enthusiasm, others will see the benefits of this idea too.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for technical designs, development, testing and delivery of web applications with a strong focus on mobile devices
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Application optimization for maximum speed, SEO and scalability
• Sharing knowledge about new technologies and facilitating the implementation of such technologies across projects
• Lead and mentor other team members to develop (shared) best practices and development standards

 Who you are

You will help our DevOps scrum team in creating and improving serverless (AWS) web applications. This can be a React application built on top of cloud API’s to mobile apps using React Native. You take charge and you carry your team on your back, on your way to success. You are not afraid to try out new technologies and surprise us with bringing new innovation to the team. You’re happy to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems. Furthermore, you:

• Have extensive experience in developing web applications, preferably cloud solutions
• Like to code Javascript, HTML & CSS.
• Are passionate about web development in general, with a keen interest in web future
• Take pride in applications you ship to production
• Are Fluent in Dutch

 You will stand out more if you’re experienced with some of the skills & tools below, but they are no hard requirements:

• Experience in a major front end framework: React, Vue, Angular
• The more these words mean to you, the better: NodeJS, Artifactory, Gitlab, Node, Visual Code, Redux, PWA, Lighthouse, REST, GraphQL, React-Native, Contentful, Serverless, Gatsby, AWS: CodeCommit, CodeBuild, AppSync, Lambda’s

If you prefer the fresh air, you can take the tram or bike and you will be at the beach in half an hour.*
