Job Title: Senior UX Designer
Employment Type: Full time
Location: San Francisco

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our studio. In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of projects from designing future interfaces, creating world-changing digital experiences, and supporting the studio across prototype applications, websites, and experimental projects.

Native is engaged in the design and development of the most cutting-edge platforms, ranging from large multi-touch surfaces to mobile applications and in-car interaction experiences. You will need to be a digital thinker who is obsessed with ideas and technology, know the digital landscape inside and out, be able to perfectly define product design, websites, apps, to bring engaging user experiences to life.

We are looking for innovative craftspeople who are not afraid to challenge the norm to shape the future of interactive digital experiences on some of the world’s most important problems. Because much of our work is in the exciting converging space between digital and physical design, we’re looking for designers who are comfortable beyond the usual confinements of web-based platforms and patterns.

During the current situation, we’re looking for you to join us remotely and eventually on-site as we begin to occupy studio space again.

What we’re looking for:
5+ years track record of providing UX excellence, with high attention to detail.
Experience and appetite to want to create great experiential UX beyond the screen.
Extensive experience of a variety of platforms with differing screen sizes and input methods (web, mobile, touch, physical, etc.)
Proficient in Sketch, Figma, Invision, Principle and Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, XD.
Strong knowledge visual/interactive/motion design trends.
Solid understanding of typography, layout, and general graphic design.
Experience of working independently, as a team, and with wider project stakeholders.
Exposure to delivering constructive but critical feedback, confidently communicating with stakeholders and non-technical colleagues.
Prior experience of working within innovation environments.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in digital experiences. The main responsibilities for this role are:
Respond to briefs and develop high quality outputs.
Input on all manners of design from interaction to graphics/visual design and motion.
High quality communication of design intent through wireframes, storyboards, motion exemplars, etc.
Collaborate with industrial designers on design and integration of physical interaction elements to create holistic experiences.
Ensuring the on-time delivery of design work of exceptional quality.
Participation in client meetings, presentations and workshops.
Liaise with developers to optimize designs for implementation.
Working with client UI and UX design teams to ensure all creative output from Native is to the highest standards.
Articulate and present ideas/treatments internally and to clients.
Stay at the cutting edge of new technologies, software and processes that will allow you to get your job done more efficiently and to a higher standard.
Take pride in the output of Native as a whole, working with other members of the team to ensure all output is of the highest standard

International candidates must hold a valid US working permit.
Role is remote until we begin to occupy the studio space again.
