Our software development kit (SDK) team is looking for a software engineer to help improve and expand our JavaScript and TypeScript SDK running in Node.js or a browser. You will work within the client team across all commerce APIs. In addition to that you are contributing to our Open Source libraries and offerings. Your team will include a Product Manager along with developers working on other SDKs. • Using a type system to our advantage by migrating JavaScript to TypeScript improving the Developer Experience for customers and us
• Removing tedious manual tasks by automation such as generating SDKs from API specifications powered by Kotlin
• Guiding contributions through a well-defined process with continuous integration and automated releases
• Continuously improve the SDKs CI/CD processes, automatic tests and monitoring of the SDK

• Work in a team with a focus of owning various SDKs across all product domain
• Collaborate and align implementation and product efforts across other teams with Product Managers
• Analyze and discuss requirements for trade-off in technical approaches and be part of an agile team
• You and the team own the complete development process
• Take responsibility of an SDK and establish a long-term vision for it
• Evaluate the implication of new technologies such as TypeScript and GraphQL towards the SDK
• Help us improve and write documentation for the SDK, its tooling and or best practices for its usage
• Conduct internal trainings about our SDKs
