About EqualTo EqualTo is an early stage b2b software company based in Germany. We build transparent sales commission software. Our team consists of experienced SaaS entrepreneurs, engineers and UX designers, with big ambitions. We have done a complete rethink of how one should manage sales commissions resulting in a uniquely positioned product: the first truly transparent, self-service commission platform, combining the flexibility of spreadsheets with the scalability of SaaS. We currently all work remote, with a remote-first future and a first office planned in Berlin in 2021. Our mission Incentive compensation should do one thing: motivate people. But in countless companies, it’s a source of frustration, disputes and tedious admin. We are on a mission to make sales commissions transparent, easy and most importantly: motivating. The role We are looking for a full time Marketing Director with a career path to VP Marketing. You are the first marketing hire on our team, and your job is to build our marketing function from the ground up. You will initially do everything yourself, while hiring and building a team around you to scale. You report to and work with the founders. Your main responsibilities are to define and execute strategies on: product marketing, communication, demand generation and events. Yes, that’s everything! What we are looking for

  • You're an experienced product marketer and an excellent storyteller.
  • You have a “get stuff done” attitude and are happy to get your hands dirty.
  • You are fluent in English and a competent writer.
  • You have worked at a tech startup and have 5+ years of relevant experience with b2b enterprise software.
  • You have experience hiring and managing a team.
  • You have carried a lead quota and achieved it.
  • You are very competent in implementing and using new technologies.
  • You have successfully executed inbound marketing campaigns.
Great to haves
  • You are based in Berlin
  • You are a native German speaker
  • You have experience with freemium & product lead growth
  • You have experience with ACVs of +50k
  • You have experience targeting sales/HR/finance audiences
  • You have experience with SEO/SEM strategies
