The Wholesale Payments Field Intelligence team is responsible for delivering comprehensive insights to our sales and product teams by creating applications and data products that leverage the significant assets of the firm. Our programs focus on commercializing end-user tools and data algorithms to uncover new prospects, deliver product recommendations, improve relationship management and quantify the value of our solutions to both Prospects and Clients.

About the Position

The Field Intelligence team is seeking a talented, ambitious and seasoned individual to lead a new area of the team focused on transformational use cases supporting Wholesale Payments and Lending. The Commercial and Wholesale Banks have invested in a multi-year journey to aggregate reference data, product data and third-party data into a single environment, and this team will be on the leading edge of bringing it together centrally to deliver insights to our business at scale. You and a small team will partner with our data science team and product leaders to create sustainable data products focused on actionable product algorithms and alerts to support the front line.

Responsibilities include:
* Design and implement a "Product Usage and Intensity profile", a foundational asset to define which products our clients are/are not using, and the relative intensity vs. peers
* Centralize \"anomaly detection\" across our business sets to call out and alert Coverage teams of potential product issues or opportunities real time
* Codify common cross-sell opportunities into a centralized repository of insights, to be distributed w/in our CRM systems as Solution Recommendations
* Create Prospect profiling parameters by assessing internal usage statistics and applying them to external data sets to properly align Prospects with the correct banking solutions
* Work with end user platform teams (SFDC, Company IQ, Product IQ, Dynamic Insights) to embed the data assets in their roadmaps, for consumption in the "natural paths" of our coverage teams
* Work with data operations to ensure the intelligence in the newly created products is sustained and improved over time


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in our payment products, demonstrated success in designing and delivering solutions to sales teams and an affinity for analytics and big data potential. They will be able to develop a clear vision and strategy, manage a cross-functional team, be obsessed with end-user experience, and persistent in pushing forward when challenged

Additional qualifications include:
* 7+ years' experience in financial services, payments, or FinTech (or comparable)
* Knowledge and interest in modern data mining, research, and data science techniques
* Experience and comfort managing complex data projects and/or data scientists
* Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
* Ability to frame general business problems into detailed analytical project plans
* Superior communication skills -ability to convey complex information simply and clearly
* Ability to understand technical details, but also simplify them for use across non-technical users
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree in a business or technical field preferred
