Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing technical leadership, direction and lead coding and implementation of automation and monitoring initiatives within Merchant Service Production Management.The resource will work with cross-functional teams on Production Engineering projects defining strategy, creating frameworks from ground-up as well as provide support for monitoring and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in a cross-functional team to implement automation along the following dimensions:

1. Coordinate with multiple globally distributed teams to implement continuous delivery capabilities to deliver rapid, repeatable, reliable, automated, audited approaches for deploying software (business value) to as frequently as possible. Bring new automation technologies to improve the velocity and quality of our engineering efforts

2. Develop automated solutions using BMC Atrium, Ansible, Control-M/Autosys, Java, .Net, C#, Linux/UNIX, REST and SOAP services and Python

3. Follow and promote Agile automated engineer development practices like Continuous Delivery and BDD. Research new tools, technologies, identify and implement solutions and best practices.

4. Lead and deliver projects for Merchant Services Production Management

Qualifications, Technical Skills, Business Knowledge
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
* 10-12 years of experience in large-scale, high-availability environment
* Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations, engineering and agile software development
* Expertise in coding automation solutions using tools like Ansible, CHEF or Puppet.
* Experience with writing scripts and/or workflows to automate routine product management admin tasks SHELL, PERL and/or PYTHON
* Minimum 8 years of application development experience in Java/J2EE or .Net technologies.
* Experience creating and consuming REST and SOAP webservices.
* Working experience with CI/CD environments and their associated toolchain (e.g., Jenkins, JMeter, Cucumber, etc)
* Should be able to lead/manage a team of developers
* Experience with Jira/Confluence
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Should be able to lead and deliver criritcal projects on time
* Experience in UNIX/Linux and scripting.
* Experience with monitoring tools is preferred (such as Wily, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
* Experience with Ctrl-M or other job schedulers is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification.
* Develop solutions that are scalable and reusable.
* Excellent work ethic
* Experience with payment processing platforms is a plus
* Motivated to work in a high pressure, dynamic operations environment
