This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Strong understanding of relational database, data warehouses, Big Data platforms, OLTP and OLAP systems
* Driving data requirement gathering with understanding of business process
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to recognize the issues and recommend a solution
* Strong capacity for logical thinking with the ability to understand complex applications
* Experience with ETL applications in relational databases (Oracle; Teradata), Hadoop, SQL, Linux shell scripts and workflow scheduling tools (Autosys; Control-M)
* Experience with Enterprise Metadata Design, Development, Administration, and Support within the BI Toolset (Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, Spotfire)
* Experience working in Agile Development
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in Consumer Banking and Financial (Finance Systems like General Ledger, Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, etc.) domain applications handling data from diverse sources
