Our talented team of engineers and entrepreneurs is on a mission to build the sensing technology of the future. We are currently looking for a talented, fun, creative and driven Business Developer to join our team and help us to grow our B2B business. This position requires highly developed social skills, the ability to work independently and a strong affinity for computer vision technology. Tasks As a Business Developer, you will join as a cross-functional employee who can relate to product management, marketing and engineering teams as effectively as to the customer in order to build product-market fit into a business. You will not only be a salesperson. You will be the right-hand of the founding team to bring our product to market by helping out on customer service, operations, general management, business development and product testing. As a Business Developer, your key task is to find ideal customer profiles and ironing out a repeatable sales process:

  • identify and validate product and customer segments with the highest market potential
  • research prospective new clients for lead generation purposes, and lay the foundation for strong, long-lasting relationships
  • relentlessly feed product and engineering teams with customer requirements and insights
  • create and iterate on all marketing and sales touchpoints in order to find and adapt for optimal messaging and value proposition as required
  • find out the best sales model and build the basis for a scalable and repeatable sales process
  • negotiate deals with clients and own all commercial aspect of the proposals
  • explore and test new channels for lead acquisition
  • build strategic partnerships
Requirements
  • you have a background in economics, management or engineering
  • you have a highly strategic mindset with exceptional analytical skills
  • you have a strong focus on product, you love people and you put a point at doing the job well
  • you embrace the high ambiguity that comes with an early-stage startup
  • you are open-minded, friendly and have very high communication skills
  • ability to excel in a startup environment – able to take on new responsibilities quickly
  • you can lead with autonomy: you possess the talent to interact with and engage all stakeholders, especially customers, product and engineering teams
  • you can leverage your own network and can easily create new contacts
  • excellent presentation skills, the ability to pitch to new clients and you have a convincing and sympathetic appearance at C-level
  • fluent in German and English
  • previous experience with Government contract/sales channel is a big plus
  • you have the right to work in Germany
