Find and fight image theft. In the last 5 years, we've built the most popular software & legal service for finding and fighting image theft online. We're looking for someone to help bring us to the next level and ensure our customers have the best possible experience using Pixsy. We've helped 80,000+ photographers in 120+ countries uncover over 300 million uses of their photos online. Each day we monitor over 100 million images for online matches. Pixsy is looking for an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to oversee all day-to-day finance and administration topics. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing invoices and payments, monitoring our bank accounts, supervising payroll, managing documents, and contracts. You will coordinate with our external bookkeepers, accountants, and lawyers. You will work directly with the CEO to support in the day-to-day running of the company and team, support with HR and office admin topics, and special projects. You will be working with our German and US companies to manage these topics for both. This is a part-time role based on 25-30 hours per week (with the option to move to full-time). We offer flexible hours and the option to work from home. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years in a similar role managing finances, controlling and/or administration
  • Experience in German bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and payroll topics
  • Understanding of German HR and workplace topics
  • Understanding of budgeting, cash flow planning, and reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office (Google Suite is a plus)
  • Experience with accounting & bookkeeping software (DATEV, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, etc.)
  • Experience in working with external bookkeepers, accountants, and tax advisors
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
  • You self-manage your tasks and don't need supervision (we hate micromanagement)
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail and structured work
  • Business-level fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Extra points if you have experience or knowledge in:
  • International payments and FX
  • Multi-currency accounting and payments
  • US bookkeeping, accounting, and tax
  • US tax reporting - W9/W8 and 1099/1042
