It's an exciting time to join the PicnicHealth team - we just announced our Series B raise and are growing quickly in revenue, partnerships, and people. We 3x'd our ARR two years in a row now and on track to continue this trend, building partnerships with over a dozen Life Sciences groups, including 3 of the top 6 Biopharma firms in the US. We’re going through a period of hyper-growth - we tripled the size of the team in the last 18 months and we’re looking to at least double over the next year. The Opportunity

We’re looking for our first Visual Designer to help drive the PicnicHealth brand forward. As a core member of our Design Team, you will work closely with the Marketing Team, Commercial Team, and external partners to create visual assets that delight our Life Sciences and patient customers. You will own the visual design for the website, social, application, and other digital properties. You will be responsible for the creative design, direction, and execution of marketing assets, company collateral, and executive presentations. You will be creating visuals, infographics, and illustrations used for customer activation, including social media, video, website, application, etc. In this founding role, you’ll get to raise the bar for visual design at PicnicHealth and see your vision play out across the company. 

You are a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of professional design experience;
• Excellent foundational graphic design skills (composition, visual hierarchy, typography) and fluency in an array of design and animation tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Figma);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process;
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously;
• Ability to translate best practices in usability and UX into smart designs and interfaces; 
• A diverse portfolio that showcases a thoughtful, creative process covering a range of mediums, UI design, icons and illustrations, video, and motion design; and
• Comfort working independently in a start-up environment, where speed, flexibility, and experimentation are part of the day-to-day culture.

Bonus Points

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field;
• System design experience;
• Background designing for consumer web products;
• Experience working with marketing or growth teams; and/or
• Experience designing for accessibility and familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG standards.
