We are working with our client to enhance and improve the way that they are able to respond to and deal with customer enquiries and problems. They are currently implementing a new Customer Experience Platform (CxP) which is underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). A lot of discovery work has been done so far and they are now starting to develop the platform using an agile delivery framework model, taking early opportunities to deliver value in tandem to developing and evolving the CxP platform.
We are now building a development team to support this work. You'll be working in an agile team. We are grateful that we are a company that can work from home easily, and so we all started doing this a week before lockdown. We are reviewing this as time passes and government advice changes but for now, we can work from home, so we are. We'll provide you with whatever you might need in order to work comfortably from home, apart from an extra room... we can't do extensions, sorry! :) But if you have a quiet space that you can work in, we can do the rest! When we get back to normal you will be working mainly at our offices and occasionally at our client’s offices (10 miles apart). Your involvement in this team will generate more efficient process and improve the experience for our client’s customers and employees.
We're looking for a developer to support development of solutions within the CXP platform, to solve specific business problems/need.
Whilst you will work in this small self-organising team, you'll be part of our wider company which is over 100 Developers from 19 different countries, all of us based in Cornwall. We’re a really friendly bunch, intelligent, inquisitive and we all want to do the right thing with software development. We work hard but we have an outstanding work-life balance and we’re very grateful for it, its one of the reasons our software is so good. We are truly agile and we're fans of TDD, BDD and Continuous Delivery. We also love pair programming & mobbing and our modern offices are set up to enable teams to do this well. There are lots of other teams here, all working on their own different and unique applications.
You’ll benefit from knowledge sharing with other teams, internal talks, communities of practice and our great social environment. We have a very laid back feel with a relatively flat structure. Our culture and environment is dedicated to making people happy at work. Not only will you get to work in this amazing team, but you will get to do it in the stunning county of Cornwall. Our offices are less than 5 miles from the beach and some of the most amazing coastline in the UK. Cornwall’s tech scene has been quietly growing over the last decade but momentum has really gained pace over the last couple of years. We are home to some fantastic companies all hiring great tech talent, and now, our airport is home to the UK's first spaceport in partnership with Virgin Orbit. Another great boost for Cornwall. If this all sounds like something you want to be a part of then let’s talk soon!
