You will be joining a team that is in transition from a traditional waterfall delivery model to a product-centric, scaled agile framework. You have a strong enough foundation in Agile methodologies to help guide a transitional team as well as provide subject matter expertise and best practices support to team members new to Scrum. The successful candidate will not only work with user stories and requirements but work on the technical specifications as well. Having worked in a product development environment is critical, we do not want IT BAs, we need more technical ones. We need the person to have experience in pharma and its regulated environment. With a strong enough foundation in Agile methodologies: help guide a transitional team as well as provide subject matter expertise and best practices support to team members new to Scrum<br />In this position you will be part of a Release Train delivering a critical product for lab experiment execution to a global customer base within the Dia R&D Informatics solutions portfolio:</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert and coach to the team in Agile methodology, tool usage, decision making process following the proper guidelines</li><li>Encourage collaboration between teams and Solution Architects/Engineering</li><li>Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment</li><li>Work with the Release Train Engineer on program execution and operational excellence</li><li>Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos</li><li>Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve</li><li>Foster use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices</li><li>Work closely with the Product team (Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, Product Owner(s), developers, scrum master, Business Analysts, technical resources, and other stakeholders</li><li>Manage and optimize the flow of product value using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans, boards, trackers</li><li>Work closely with business SME and Product Owners to convert requests into best practices user stories with clear definition, acceptance criteria, and persona representation</li><li>Help the Product Owner/ Product Manager keep the product backlog in good shape and groomed/ready for sprint planning</li><li>Foster use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices</li><li>Identify gaps in process and skills and help bridge the transition of the organization to scaled agile, product-centric delivery</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><div><strong>Must Haves</strong></div></div><div><div><ul><li>5 to 7 years as Business Analyst with strong technical experience </li><li>Must be extremely strong in writing/managing user stories and understand best practices for agile project management tools (JIRA, CodeBeamer, etc.)</li><li>Has successfully led large-scale software projects (with multiple tracks of work and teams in multiple locations) from concept to delivery </li><li>Strong software development and technical background</li><li>Worked in a capacity of Technical business Analyst working thru not only stories but understand how the technical debt, technical specifications work</li><li>Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity</li><li>Exhibits servant leadership style towards the product manager, scrum master, development team and the wider organization</li><li>Strong skills in leading teams, problem-solving, influencing, teamwork, initiative and communication.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as needed and to facilitate virtual meetings for globally dispersed teams.</li><li>Experience in collaborating with teams on a more complex project or program decisions across multiple areas, evaluating tradeoffs and providing options and recommendations to senior executives</li><li>Demonstrated skills in innovation and creative approaches in building new business process solutions</li><li>Experience with managing senior stakeholders</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams</li><li>Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques</li><li>Fluent English (written and spoken)</li><li>Flexible working hours : late evenings (US Collaboration)</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><div><p><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></p></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Experience supporting research laboratory execution informatics</li><li>Pharma / GxP experience</li><li>Experience with deployment of cloud and SaaS solutions</li><li>Knowledge of Diagnostics business</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><div> </div><div><h2>Contact</h2><p>Jan Schmitz-Elsen<br />Talent Acquisition Consultant<br />+41 79 425 10 45<br /> <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> <br /> <br />We look forward to receiving your online application with your CV!</p></div></div></div>
