Our software team focuses on improving the experience of our users in labs through a team effort. Our team of software engineers mainly works with C#, WPF, .NET / .NET Core, Python, etc. In addition to our software for controlling our laboratory equipment, we are working on many exciting topics like image processing and AI/ML. Qualifications

  • Experience in C/C++, C#, .NET / .NET Core and ideally WPF/XAML
  • Ideally experience with hardware-related programming (to control cameras, motors, etc.)
  • Ability to write Clean Code in a test driven environment (TDD)
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills ability to troubleshoot complex software and systems to identify the root cause of the issue
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn new technologies quickly

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for the next generation of single cell dispensing and analysis instruments
  • Work with the software teams to continuously improve development practices and processes
  • Bringing exciting new prototypes to life and working in close collaboration with our hardware developers and our applications team
  • Getting to know customers and developing new products for maximum customer benefit and user experience
  • Making sure that our customers can focus on the biology and love our instruments, due to simple and joyful operation
  • Work with dedicated, interdisciplinary project teams across disciplines
