This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and dynamic business development professional to come in and lead the business development team for Apple Services across the UK. The core of this team is responsible for growing new partnerships across all of Apple’s Services as well as supporting special strategic projects. The successful candidate will have an existing network of contacts (up to C- Level) across a variety of industries including telecom operators, retailers and financial services institutions. In addition, you will be a seasoned leader who is passionate about managing a high performing and ambitious team. This role is based in London and reports to the Director, International Business Development / Strategy & Planning.

Manage research projects to identify the priority partnership opportunities for Apple Services across the UK. Help to build business models and programmes that help partners to achieve their business goals of growing acquisition, reducing churn or driving engagement Lead negotiations with relevant partners to ensure that Apple’s Services is made available to large volumes of customers and marketed in the high-visibility and exceptional-quality manner than Apple demands

Skills & requirements

  • Extensive and relevant industry work experience in managing or selling value-added services to mobile carriers
  • Direct experience of managing a large and experienced team of business development professionals
  • Strong business network at Senior Executive level across a variety of relevant industries
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successful negotiation with both 3rd parties and cross-functionally within a large business structure
  • Significant experience of managing commercial relationships with partners including reporting, analysis and contract negotiations
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management capability with great attention to detail
  • Strong command of business and financial modelling

BA/BS degree in Business or related, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
