Project Description

Post Trade Technology is one of the main pillars of corporate investment bank, managing billions of transactions for the wholesale business and are responsible for post trade Clearing, Settlement, Margin & Collateral Management, Securities processing, finance and accounting. I nutshell entire process after the trade is booked. Post trade is also responsible to perform Analytics on data and providing meaningful MIS for front office, middle office, Back office, regulatory and various other divisions for the firm.

Post Trade Reservoir is a critical initiative to bring multiple silos of Post Trade together, sharing a singular Big Data platform catering to all ingestion, processing and distribution needs of various CIB divisions, the program focuses in achieving the central vision of data engineering and architecture

Job Description

The senior Business Analyst and Project Manager and will be responsible for gathering requirements, performing business and data analysis on complex workflows.

The position will entail analyzing existing and new data flows, deciphering nuances of the complex flows and move towards simplifying the flows for technical implementation, the job will involve understanding of data models, building functional requirement documents, leading business discussions, interfacing with business and technology teams and help solving business issues. The job will require strong partnering with global business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis/Product Management

• Drafting Functional requirement documents.

• Interfacing with Business and Technology teams.

• Building Data provenance and data dictionary of data models.

• Preparing project plans, work break down structures and management of JIRA dashboards.

• Preparation of Business test cases, and test data, executing test cases before system releases.

• Coordinating UAT's and performing SIT and enabling Test Driven Development.

• Managing and preparing Confluence documentation and keep a track of updates.

• Managing SharePoint.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Master's degree in Information Technology and Project Management and or working knowledge in related field, or an equivalent work experience

8+ years' experience in the field of Technology Business Analysis and Project Management.

Essential Technology and Functional Skills

Proven record of both Project Delivery and Business Analysis in a technical environment

Good Understanding of Financial concepts

Good Understanding of Trade life cycle

Hand on capability to query data, SQL is a must

Good hold on MS suite of applications (PowerPoint, Projects, Advance Excel (Macros), Word, Visio): A MUST

Exposure to Data Modelling tools (Magic Draw, Erwin)

Understanding of Business Workflow tools

Strong understanding of software development life cycle and experience working directly with teams of software engineers
