In this role, you’ll be the guardian of our outstanding user experience. Your job is to keep our ridiculously high-quality bar set ridiculously high, and to help us identify and execute ways to raise it even higher. You will be able to dive into many aspects of our application portfolio, and define strategy for (smarter) testing new features and functionalities.

What's in it for us

Our QA engineer, tracks the development process of a product from start to finish. You oversee production, testing each part to ensure it meets company standards before moving to the next phase. 

  • Responsible for quality of all sites and systems created by HarlemNext
  • Creating validation procedures to maintain quality
  • Coordinate, execute and/or accompany internal and/or external audits
  • Creating or writing solutions to automate end to end tests
  • Monitoring and communicating system health or find solutions to automate this
  • Testing new releases from subscription up to and including payment
  • Testing experience (API/Mobile)
  • Knowledge of GUI and non-GUI (technical as functional)
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages: OO knowledge
  • Efficient when examining products and know how to implement practical changes
  • You speak Dutch pretty well and your English is outstanding


  • Excellent people and communication skills, flexibility and being able to work across multiple teams
  • Innovative, proactive, and resourceful; committed to quality and continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented
  • 3+ years of hands on testing exposure with good knowledge of test processes.


  • Google Analytics knowledge
  • Writing customer-oriented texts
  • Cypress, Selenium (IDE and webdriver)/NET and/or MVC is a big plus
