We’re seeking an inspiring leader to join ListenFirst’s Product Management Organization as the Design Director, owning the cross-section of Design, UX and Business. You will help build the next generation of social analytics for the world’s top marketers by owning ListenFirst’s design vision.

Your role will be to develop a cohesive vision and strategy to support, grow the team, scale our design thinking and UX processes, improve usability of our products, and work cross-functionally to influence roadmap decisions. 

You’re an expert in design systems and storytelling. You’re passionate about developing insights based on user research, and can turn those insights into beautiful prototypes and products. You know how to get different groups motivated to work together and deliver real change. You’re a player-coach who likes to get their hands dirty, directing long-term visioning while making short-term design contributions.



  • Own the User Experience vision and practice across all ListenFirst products
    • Establish a data-driven UX culture that delivers simple solutions to complex problems 
    • Build and evolve scalable user research processes that increase user adoption 
    • Facilitate feedback, learning, collaboration, and iteration
  • Contribute design thought leadership 
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional UX team
  • Collaborate across teams to elevate UX
    • Partner with product managers and engineering to identify the design roadmap and advocate for users
    • Partner with management to plan, document, communicate, and implement the design roadmap and research best practices 
    • Partner with marketing to ensure a strong visual identity and consistent brand presence across all customer touchpoints 


  • 7+ years of hands-on UX design experience working with product managers at a high-growth tech company 
  • An excellent communicator and storyteller who can articulate and sell their design decisions to any audience
  • Track record of launching innovative, successful products in a fast-paced environment 
  • Highly attuned intuition for stakeholder needs and a strong sense of user advocacy
  • Deep understanding of user research and quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving methods 
  • Exceptional attention to detail - an empathic listener and passionate learner 
  • Mastery of Figma, Sketch, InVision, and other design tools and systems 
  • Knowledge of UX writing, motion, and accessibility standards 
  • Interest in data visualization and reporting

Extra Credit: 

  • Degree in psychology, behavioral sciences, or HCI
  • Experience designing a premium, consumerized enterprise product 
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels such as: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Website Analytics, Ad-Servers, Pinterest, etc
