The Head of digital UX/UI is responsible for a best of class digital experience from the first banner to the order confirmation page that strike a balance between the consumers‘ intent and the business’s needs. The role aligns the products roadmap with consumer/market needs to create balanced and premium product solutions amidst constraints in the product’s technical framework. By conducting research and continuously testing and refining the user experience, this role creates concepts with different product owners. The ideal candidate has in-depth consumer behavior knowledge and understands how to develop responsive concepts and integrate these across various tools and touchpoints for a premium brand.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design an excellent user experience across all digital touchpoints (website/shop, microsites, etc.) and passionately advocate for the user to ensure that the product design strategy is aligned to user needs, expectations and experience
  • Develop and maintain a UX roadmap to guide product management and tech teams in planning for and implementing the roadmap; Research best in class UX and UI for a premium brand ecommerce experience, and is aware of UX trends and the future consumer centric design
  • Conduct user acceptance tests (manual/automated) to challenge existing concepts and constantly track UX/UI KPIs, define actions to steer the digital performance
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and IT to ensure technical alignment, best-in-class-performance and consistency. In addition the role is responsible for setting standards, simply processes and to build a central UI/UX asset repository
  • Lead a team of planned 2-3 FTE

YOUR PROFILE

  • Ideally university degree in business studies, major in marketing / digital brand management or interface design and other relevant fields
  • Foundational experience working for a premium brand in consumer or FMCG industry, market and (premium) consumer behavior knowledge, ideally as a team leader
  • Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on attitude and experienced in agile ways of working as well as an assertive team-player with project management skills, international mindset and excellent communication in English
  • Detail oriented, with strong organization and process skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints
  • Data driven mindset and experiences in managing eCommerce or brand websites with the ability to draw conclusions based on analytic reports and KPIs in alignment with a creative mindset with the user on top of the mind and premium execution capabilities
