The Head of IT is responsible for managing Miele’s IT activities in the Digital Hub. In close collaboration with the business and the global IT the role will work on the development and implementation of Miele’s global digital commerce strategy with a strong focus on frontend development, ecommerce technologies and best in class digital marketing. The role will be supervisor to a team of various ecommerce technology specialists. Together with the global IT organization best in class digital commerce IT services will be provided.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop the Digital Hub IT organization to ensure best in class digital commerce IT operations
  • Develop the global digital commerce roadmap in close collaboration with business and the global IT
  • Ensure sufficient ressource allocation and prioritize projects and initiatives in alginment with the overall strategic priorities
  • Ensure efficient communication of Digital Hub IT topics and needs towards the global IT organization and vice versa
  • Provide and further develop adequate Digital Hub IT experts and ensure smooth Digital Hub IT operations with local and global IT resources operationally
  • Identify, communicate and drive improvement levers for continuous excellence and best in class IT processes and solutions

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in computer science or other relevant fields; other post graduate management qualifications desirable
  • Relevant IT/digital leadership experience in a multinational FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), retail, wholesale or household products business
  • Significant experience in all fields of ecommerce technologies with a strong focus on frontend development and MarTech as well as ecommerce frameworks
  • Analytical and problem solving capability together with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinking, leadership and teamwork skills, at all times driving participation and engagement in order to achieve business goals as well as proven leadership success
  • Fluent business English; communication skills in German are preferable
