Job description

We are looking to hire an excellent industrial designer with around 0-2 years’ experience in product development, including tangible products and digital interactions (UX/UI). Our ideal candidate has a relentless curiosity for possibilities and a passion for inventing and creating new products and experiences that will improve the world. And we are looking for this person to also be a leader with the ability to successfully grow into the role of managing projects and teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities
• Be a helpful and reliable team contributor with a positive attitude
• Participate in research to Identify unmet user needs and opportunities for innovation
• Engage and contribute creatively in group ideation sessions
• Use iterative design-thinking process to reliably generate good ideas
• Design intuitive interactions to create positive user experiences
• Create appealing design aesthetics and user experiences that enhance and elevate brands
• Use effective sketching and rendering abilities to communicate ideas efficiently
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to develop, test and validate ideas
• Present and communicate ideas effectively and professionally
• Manage collaborative teams effectively to meet project objectives and deliver excellence
• Manage and meet client expectations, budget and timeframe commitments
• Build relationships of trust with existing clients and partners
• Network to meet new potential clients within our verticals

Qualifications
• Highly reliable and responsible, with helpful attitude
• BS or BFA in Industrial Design or equivalent
• 0-2 years’ experience in product design and development
• Open-minded, creative and inventive with a strong curiosity for new possibilities
• Strong sketching and rendering skills to effectively and efficiently communicate ideas
• Skilled use of mock-ups and prototypes to develop, test and validate ideas
• Knowledge of designing for common manufacturing processes
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Effective time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, projects, budgets and timeframes effectively
• Proficient in the following programs: Outlook, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
