Job Description

Back end Developer

AO tech are changing the way that our technology better serves our customers, as a Backend Developer you will play an integral part in this. Our new product-focused teams freely work on improving a specific section of the AO website. Made up of talented groups of Front and Back End Developers, UX Designers and Business Analysts amongst others, we’ve already started to see great results on ao.com We are adopting a devops culture and creating an environment of learning and growth mindsets. You will be tasked with underpinning our award winning website to help build a world class customer centric level of service. By empowering our tech teams, they are owning the direction, strategy and owning their products to become experts to really add value to our customers. The role

You will be joining one of our product squads and be tasked with writing clean code on .net and collaborating with peers, you will write automated tests and importantly have a real thirst for learning and have a growth mindset. Our development teams core requirements are .Net and C#, along with a solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods. We deploy multiple applications and microservice architecture via CI/CD pipelines, take responsibility for building and monitoring our infrastructure. We also work with technologies like: Terraform, Node.js, typescript, .NET Core, DynamoDB and are keen to explore current and new AWS technologies.
