Do you want to lead a team that will build unique
AI and Machine learning products designed to reduce the cost, complexity and timescales of trade finance processing?

The product

A scalable platform that utilises proprietary Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to accurately digitise documents into a readable format and then applies machine learning algorithms to scrutinise for compliance with international trading rules and regulations.

Your new role

You'll build and lead a new London-based software engineering team that will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. Don't worry, prior knowledge on trade finance or the product is not required, the primary focus is using the best tech for the job. You'll have a big say in the hiring of your team to achieve the task and you'll be able to select the appropriate tech to achieve the end goal efficiently.

The current tech stack is varied meaning you'll get great exposure to multiple languages, predominantly Java and Python. Angular will be used on the front end in the future along with Docker and Kubernetes on the Devops side.

TDD will be implemented and you'll be working in an agile environment when the team is assembled.

What you'll need to succeed

A raw passion for tech and strong experience in Python and associated libraries (pandas and Numpy).
Some knowledge of java is helpful and you will have exposure to cloud based systems and CI/CD tools so it’s a fantastic opportunity to improve your skills in these areas.

What you'll get in return

The salary is circa £100,000 but there may be some flexibility for the right experience.

What you need to do now

If an opportunity to use an extensive range of the top tech to revolutionise the trade finance industry appeals to you then get in touch!

If you'd like more information on this role, you can apply directly via stack. If you don't have an up to date CV, reach out on LinkedIn or drop me an email at [email protected]
