Apple’s Global Business Intelligence organization is seeking a frameworks program Manager with demonstrated product and program management skills to help lead the framework development. Global Business Intelligence group focuses on deploying critical business intelligence solutions for all business areas via platforms built in-house or via third party products.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will work with customer (internal and external) to understand their needs, prioritize the requirements, plan development and ensure the adherence of schedule. You will be responsible for prioritization complex projects and driving the development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, and clearly presenting goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams.
This role includes direct interaction with Engineering teams, Support, Operations, Application teams. Ownership of multiple strategic and high visibility initiatives sought at improving Apple’s reporting strategy while addressing our constantly changing business needs. You will need to demonstrate leadership - both direct and by influence to drive the roadmap, launch and operations of the Platforms owned by the GBI team. The GBI Framework Program Manager will be proactive, motivated and excel working in a very fast-paced cross-functional environment with strong analytical, product/project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities that entail building highly complex and scalable frameworks and tools. This role requires critical thinking around team needs and organizational goals, and is not a solely tactical role. This person will influence successful outcomes and delivery of robust software, and must be able to prioritize and work on multiple highly detailed projects at the same time.
