We have an immediate opening for an experienced Creative Director. The ideal candidate for this role will join an incredible team of designers to be the internal leader and creative engine behind projects from inception to implementation. This person will be responsible for communicating strategic goals and direction from senior leadership into actionable design solutions, and establishing the stylistic direction for the design staff and orchestrating their creative work, as well as the work of production staff and professionals.

Our Creative Directors ensure the proper resources are in place, from designers to developers to copywriters and others, so that each element produced within a project is visually compelling, and reflects the strategic intention and business goals set forth. This person must have a vision for seeing the entire board and understand goals of individual projects. This should apply not only to the creative process, but also to the strategy, as the Creative Director is the steward for creative execution from early on. This person should be able to effectively guide the project's creative to reflect the strategic goals of the project.

OK, slip these future-gazing glasses on. As our Creative Director, you will:
• Serve as liaison between senior leadership and communication with the creative team
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting internal relationships with staff and external relationships with clients
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with strategic, creative, production, project, and account team leaders
• Lead the brand team in all internal and external creative initiatives
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of creative solutions according to customer needs, ready for delivery
• Clearly communicate the progress of creative initiatives among internal teams and reports to outfacing teams
• Participate with development and presentation of creative proposals
• Collaborate with account and project management client team where possible to identify and grow opportunities within a program
• Assist with challenging client requests, internal problem solving, and troubleshooting as needed
• Work with the business development / account team in developing sound scopes of work and estimates
• Manage the creative process from concept to completion

Here’s what's required:
• Ensuring the agency is meeting the client’s needs from a creative product perspective
• A strong design thinking process as part of your problem-solving qualifications
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• Solid experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), and other creative software. Sketch and HTML knowledge a plus.
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Motivate and lead the brand team with a positive attitude
• Broad working knowledge of brand, design, and digital (UI/UX) strategy
• Proven ability to juggle multiple creative assignments and projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Creative problem solver
• Excellent listening abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Here’s what would be great (but if not, it’s ok, we’ll teach you!):
• Knowledge of the research and development process for products, brands, and/or services
• Experience aligning service solutions to C-Suite challenges across a broad range of business types
• Sound basics of business acumen

And here’s what else you’ll need to bring to the party:
• A 4-year degree or higher in a design-related field, or other applicable field
• Minimum of 8-10 years successful track record in an agency or design consulting environment
• Strong references from prior employer(s) and customers
