HSAd is in search of a UX director (12+ years of experience) for consumer facing communications on LG.com.
What does the UX Director do?
-Leads the digital design team and LG stakeholders in the development of user experience research, wireframes, user flows, designs, journey maps, and additional innovative human experience initiatives
-Possess the ability to synthesize feedback from multiple areas to discover customer behavior and optimize current and new experiences
-Design and validate overarching user experiences and detailed user interfaces for multiple platforms and communications touchpoints across creative and media in relationships with LG.com
-Nurtures relationships with senior leadership to align UX vision and strategy across the company in the creative and media process
-Define the process and workflow of the UX team and the role user experience plays within the organization
-Elevate LG’s design thinking to solve business, product and user problems
-Be a design thinking evangelist and innovator, both internally and in the greater New York UX community
-Showcase your team work to our stakeholders
-Provide thought leadership for the organization while mentoring peers on UX
-Embrace work autonomy by encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship in the field and applying a bottom-up management approach
-Mentors and develops staff
What are we looking for?
-Bachelor's degree required
-Over 12 years of related experience: Information architecture (IA), information design, or human design experience
-Experience in creative, media and/or technology marketing and advertising
-Proven results with managing UX projects where new technology is implemented
-Demonstrated track record of business development results from strong client relations
-Collaborate with teams of people in cross functional roles across the organization
-Strategic skill and strong business acumen
-Creative thinker with analytical skills
-Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions internally and externally -Strong and applied understanding of digital development and processes
-Demonstrated problem solving skills
-Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be on-site daily, in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
