SafetyWing is a YC startup building the world’s first social safety net for digital nomads and remote workers. In early 2020, we’re publically launching our newest product which is global health insurance for remote teams called Remote Health. Our first Customer Success will be the main strategist behind the happiness of our growing number of enterprise clients. They will also work closely with our Head of Business Development and Head of Product to drive sales and constantly improve our offering.

We're a very close and collaborative team of about 20, located across North America and Europe. We work remotely but have our official headquarters in San Francisco (where you’re welcome to come hang out) and meet up in person a few times per year (last times have been in SF, Norway, and Mexico).

Depending on the candidate, this role can either be as a full-time member of our core team or as a part-time consultant to start. We’re open to candidates with ~2-6 years of experience and will adjust the responsibilities and title accordingly.

  • Being the primary contact for onboarding all new companies to our platform and constantly improving this process
  • Representing the voice of the customer to provide input into every core product, marketing and sales process.
  • Ensuring all our enterprise clients are happy and content as their main SafetyWing point of contact
  • Working with our Head of Customer Service to ensure end users have high-quality interactions with our customer service team
  • Providing insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of the platform with the aim of helping grow our customer base
  • Managing existing product partnerships / integrations
  • (Soon!) Scaling and managing a global team of other Customer Success Managers


What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant experience with startups and account management / sales / customer success ideally at a SaaS company
  • Proven track record of working in a customer facing role
  • Experience of working with Intercom or similar live chat platform useful but not essential
  • An exceptional communicator, both spoken and written in English
  • Very well organized
  • Motivated by building a global social safety net and working remotely
  • Honest, and acts with integrity
