Our server engineering team develops and deploys software which forms the foundation for some of our most exciting services, including iCloud, Maps, iTunes, and more. We are looking for a Software Engineer who cares about impeccable code, looks for bugs as a hobby and fixes them with their eyes closed.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join the team developing data science systems and tooling used internally at Apple. The ideal candidate is a polyglot developer with experience in Java, Python and Javascript, has a keen eye for usability, savors tech challenges and thrives on delivering customer value and satisfaction.

Skills & requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software product development and operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Very good understanding of Data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  • Experience with Java, Python, Javascript and some web application development frameworks.
  • Expertise in developing and operationalizing large scale, secured, modern RESTful web services and web applications
  • Comfortable with object oriented, functional and declarative programming models and able to switch between them as per need
  • Not attached to one language or framework; able and willing use all the tools available to you to get the job done
  • Understanding of micro-service and message driven architectures
  • Self-motivated and pro-active, with demonstrated abstract, creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Team Player with proven skills to build relations and collaborate with other teams
  • Understanding of large scale distributed systems and architecture

Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience
