MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE in Cupertino, CA: Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed or embedded software applications, tools, systems and services using Object Oriented or Functional programming, distributed or embedded programming, C++, Java, C#, C, relational databases and/or related technologies in Linux, Unix, or related sophisticated platform or operating system in an Agile environment. Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well between a range of complex systems. Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance. Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability. Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals. Deploy production services using AWS tools including DDB, RDS, EC2. Utilize Python Django and React on front end projects. Oversee, mentor, manage the work of junior engineers.
Primary Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
