The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary design team working on new product development. You will be involved in the complete design life cycle from concept through to design, validation and final release into full production.
The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of analog electronics, PCB design, firmware development and have the ability to use mathematical equations to facilitate numerical modelling.
In return for these attributes, we offer a key design role within our engineering team. You will be working alongside talented design engineers developing a wide range of sensor designs in a friendly working environment. You will follow pre-determined gateway processes and use engineering principles and disciplines to support the design of sensor products with varying levels of complexity.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and organized self-starter with excellent communication skills capable of building relationships with engineers of all disciplines.
At least degree qualified in electronics engineering or equivalent course
At least 5 years’ experience in an electrical engineering development role
Experience in low noise, small signal, analog circuit design
Experience of PCB layout design and principles
Experience of engineering design and analysis using first principles
High intellectual ability, an analytical approach and close attention to detail
Experience of new product development and design for manufacture
Ability to multitask, time manage and work independently
Excellent PC skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Other skills that would be advantageous for this position include:
Experience and familiarity with using MathCAD
Knowledge and familiarity of the EasyPC PCB design tool
Experience of working with STM32 microprocessors
Familiarity with revision control tools such as SVN
Experience of writing PC based software in VB.net and C# using Visual Studio
