Group Controlling Systems is a department within BREG focusing on all matters concerning Group Performance Management and the Controlling Information Pool. Your tasks

  • Develop and improve the PL/SQL ORACLE backend environment
  • Work together with business analysts and solution managers in developing new features and fixing issues
  • Contribute to all types of project tasks, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, roll-out as well as incident resolution and change implementation
  • Design, code, test and maintain the complex custom-build solutions based on Oracle database
  • Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
  • Follow a defined methodology and standards including preparation and maintenance of documentation for all stages of development work
  • Help identify risks and challenges and offer solutions to them

Your background

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL projects as Senior developer and ability of develop complete solutions
  • Knowledge in application administration and database administration, specifically Oracle Database and Oracle Exadata Database
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimizing SQL databases
  • Desire to refactor/debug/clean up existing code in addition to writing great code from scratch
  • Interested in the technical as well as business side of an application
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in a highly motivated team and to be a part of the team
  • Very good communication skills
  • Fluency in English - any other CEE language (German, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian or Serbian) is an advantage
