About the opportunity

We are looking for a design-minded, research-obsessed individual to help create consistent and delightful end-to-end experiences across our digital product. In this role, you will play an integral part in developing and scaling our research and digital design processes, and work closely with a cross-functional team throughout the product development cycle: from concept development to execution to launch, advocating for our users along the way.

As our first dedicated UX designer, you will:

  • Support our product development process with design thinking, research methods, sketching, prototyping, testing, thoughtful execution, and iteration
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Design Manager and a Product Manager to fulfill the overall product/feature vision
  • Work with the Product team to create detailed user flows, product maps, and wireframes to clearly communicate current and future customer journeys
  • Run efficient and unbiased user interviews, focus groups, and other research methodologies to better understand user needs
  • Create low and high fidelity prototypes to be used in testing
  • Document and track learnings gathered through testing and research and apply insights to future projects
  • Synthesize research and democratize insights for cross-functional reference
  • Present designs informed by research and business objectives at design critiques and iterate based on feedback from the wider team 
  • Partner with Engineering and Creative teams to ensure a high-level of polish throughout the development cycle
  • Conduct competitive analyses and suggest innovative ways to create value for the user throughout our digital product


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills
  • Strong balance between attention to detail and big picture thinking
  • A deeply collaborative and iterative approach to UX, with a focus on creating cohesive experiences across our product
  • Experience with UX research methods, wireframing, prototyping, and conducting remote and in-person user research using a variety of methodologies
  • Skilled in design and prototyping softwares like Sketch and Invision 
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, iterative design approach to wireframes and flow variations
  • Experience producing clear and descriptive documentation for implementation targeted to a variety of roles and personality types including product managers, UI designers, and engineers
  • Understands interaction design fundamentals and UI design best practices
  • A positive, can-do attitude
