Who we are looking for

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced, and driven Senior Product Designer to join our growing team of core contributors to work on our decentralised application as well as our growth and marketing efforts. Swell is looking for folks who live and breathe the space and are excited at the prospect of working creatively at the absolute bleeding edge of blockchain technology. This is a full-time role with strong autonomy and independence with the ability to carve and shape your contributions to a protocol that is mission-driven and purpose-led to deliver the next-generation of staking.

What you’ll be doing

• Creating a visual language and identity for Swell that users will identify with from their interaction in our community all the way to staking in our dapp.
• Design beautiful experiences within the Swell dapp for stakers and node operators.
• Owning the visual communication of Swell for growth and marketing teams creating visual assets from illustrations to animations.
• Working closely with core contributors in product, engineering, growth and marketing.

Desired Experience

• You have 3+ years of experience in product and visual interface design
• You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong technical design skill and UX/UI experience.
• You have exceptional visual design, user experience, and interaction design skills (this role is about 70% UI, 30% UX)
• You are a pure creative at heart but understand our best work comes from working within constraints.
• You are a problem solver with an eagle eye for the details.
• You have excellent communication skills: you enjoy sharing your ideas and being part of a collaborative team.
• You have working experience with Illustration / Videography / Animation
• You are experienced with HTML/CSS/JS (bonus)
• Crypto native (big bonus)
