About the role

  • Craft and execute PopSQL’s demand generation strategy across digital marketing campaigns and programs to generate leads and grow pipeline.

  • Embrace product-led growth (PLG) techniques to understand and improve our conversions across all customer touchpoints–from top to bottom of the marketing funnel to stages of the user journey (i.e. activation, adoption, retention and advocacy).

  • Partner with sales and product on metering and measuring success, improving lead scoring and enabling seamless handoffs between marketing, sales and customer success. 

  • Build a world-class marketing tech stack that supports our self-service and sales-assisted motions, while putting us on the map as experts on what modern, growth marketing looks like in the data science space.

About you

  • 6+ years of experience running growth marketing, demand generation, digital and lifecycle marketing at SaaS/Dev Tool companies. Hypergrowth experience is a plus.

  • Battle-tested knowledge across a variety of growth channels: SEO, paid ads, content marketing, email, community building, social media, etc. Much of our growth has been organic to date, and we’re looking to identify the areas of investment that will help accelerate it. You can direct our team go deep on certain tactics, while leveraging and managing vendors to execute across others. 

  • Experience with PLG, freemium/free trial, and/or hybrid (top down + bottom up) models.

  • A knack for wrangling data and analytics to uncover insights, testing hypotheses, and reporting results.

  • Always be experimenting. You will encourage us to quickly test and iterate across tactics to pinpoint where we can maximize our efforts.
