Dataherald Growth Strategy Associate - Summer Internship 2022

Dataherald is a Y Combinator backed SaaS start-up which helps companies, no matter how big or small, better leverage the world’s data to create business value. We do this by providing a no-code software to automate the ingestion, transformation, analysis and visualization of data from multiple sources without ever needing to code. Our product manages the data needs end-to-end so that businesses can focus on their goals without worrying about the complexity of large datasets.

Dataherald was launched in 2020 and has grown 10x in the last year. We currently work with leading media publishers like Chicago Tribune, Sacramento Bee etc. and are backed by a mix of Silicon Valley and media institutions such as Y Combinator, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI) and Garage Technology Ventures.

About the role

At a startup, everything starts with the Product. We have very ambitious Product plans for 2022 around exponentially increasing the amount of content on the platform, enabling us to expand our footprint in the digital media industry and to penetrate new industries where our product can add value. We are currently looking for a data-driven Product Management intern who can help us in our journey to build a SaaS rocket ship 🚀 🚀 🚀. The intern will work with the Chief Technology Officer and independently lead work streams that will deliver the future versions of our Product to customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations to bring ideas to life.
• Create product solutions for both internal and external end-users; initiate, analyze, propose, launch and maintain products.
• Use data to understand customer behavior and performance of features; be data-driven in estimating size of impact and determining prioritization.
• Manage weekly product sprints and communicate progress across the company to various stakeholders
• Gather insights on product adoption/improvements, track KPIs, identify key metrics and propose further iterations. Help deliver product solutions with high business impact, working closely with designers and engineers throughout the development process.

Qualifications

• Either recent graduate or currently enrolled senior in a college/university pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, decision making & problem solving skills
• Ability to independently work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills
• Execution oriented mindset - with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get it done
• (Preferred but not required) Hands on experience of working with tools like GA, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics etc.
