What you’ll do

The Business Operations (“BizOps”) team's mandate is to tackle Secoda's most important challenges through rigorous problem solving and execution. BizOps is a decision-support mechanism that helps catalyze collaboration across teams, propel progress, and incubate new functions to enable the smooth operations of Secoda.

Typically, we work where there is currently insufficient process, technology and people. Our job is to simplify complexity, think strategically, and define new structures. As a Business Operations Associate, you will be responsible for working closely with the CEO to partner with teams on high-priority strategic projects to deliver meaningful and measurable value across the company.

Skills we’re looking for

  • Relevant work experience: 2-4 years of demonstrated success in investment banking, management consulting, startups, or other strategy/operations roles
  • Data & Analytics: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a demonstrated track record of leveraging data to drive business impact. SQL experience is required and Python experience is also preferred.
  • Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders to execute high-impact projects, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic: An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment - organizing proactively, focusing on key priorities and adapting when required.
  • Communication: Able to speak and write plainly and accurately, communicating complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience.
  • Ownership Mentality: A clear bias for action and an ability to act autonomously without being told what to do - taking ownership and accountability for your work.
