About the Role

The design lead will be a formative part of the early team, responsible for establishing and iterating on Dropverse’s creative direction and user experience through our online and offline branding, and products and services. The ideal candidate would be passionate about crafting next-generation designs and merging creative UI/UX with geo-location based design mechanics.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working with Figma or similar UX visual prototyping tools to create user stories, flowcharts, journey maps, and/or prototypes to communicate design decisions to other team members.
• Experience designing 3D elements using tools like Blender.
• A strong understanding of visual design concepts with regards to mobile platforms and nascent technologies like AR.
• Experience using 2D and 3D animations to enhance and enrich user flows.
• An understanding of “juicy” design mechanics and an ability to incorporate the concept into creating satisfying feedback loops for users.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working with Mapbox Studio or other geo-location based tooling.
• Experience crafting usability tests and UX research to help attain product goals.
• A passion for simplifying complex concepts using creative design techniques.
• An interest or background in designing game mechanics.
• Experience designing 3D assets for Augmented Reality experiences.
• Experience prototyping UX flows in SwiftUI.
• An ability to adapt and iterate quickly with a rapidly-growing team.

Compensation and equity will be highly competitive. This is a full-time role that includes health insurance, unlimited PTO, and travel benefits. Dropverse is a remote-first company with a presence in NYC and Miami.
