As a Senior Software Engineer at Ploomber, you’ll drive and architect the development of the logic behind Ploomber's open source and cloud products, create code that reaches thousands of data scientists, work with data, machine learning and be a part of an intimate team that’s working to help data teams collaborate better and deploy their work anywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Own technical architecture of the cloud and open-source products
• You will design, code, troubleshoot, and support scalable machine-learning pipelines and ML governance systems
• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
• Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders

What We Look For:

• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
• 3+ years of proficiency with Python, Javascript Java, or C++
• 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead, OR leading an engineering team
• 1+ years of experience with DevOps technologies such as CI/CD, Docker, git, and AWS
• You've used modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment - We are unable to sponsor work visas.
• Open-source contributions or active projects with a DB, Back-and-front end.
• You enjoy sharing your work - speaking at events, writing blog posts on it, and interacting with developer communities.
