Overview

We are looking for a General Counsel to lead all legal and regulatory functions of the most innovative DeFi yield aggregator.

As the ideal candidate, you will shape legally OneStake (the Estonia-registered company!) and ensure its smooth running on its way to bringing innovations in the rapidly growing blockchain field. The safety of the business and our clients must be your main goal!

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal advisor on all areas of our project
• Help us achieve product and project objectives in compliance with current cryptocurrency legislation of Estonia / EU
• Support teams on legal matters, including strategy, general advice, commercial terms, corporate matters, privacy, security, IP, copyright, negotiations and more
• Take over daily legal business operations, assistance on taxation, employees, and independent contractors
• Draft and review contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations and assess risks
• Lead relationships with financial institutions
• Manage relationships with lawyers and other external third-parties
• Proactively identify legal problems, solutions, and potential support needed to the team
• EU residents, holders of Estonian ID or e-residency are preferred; otherwise, vast experience working for EU entities.
