About Nova
We're eliminating paperwork for financial transactions like fund subscriptions and OTC trades by converting them into intelligent digital workflows. As clients complete transactions on Nova, we keep track of their information so they can reuse it on future transactions.
Our goal is to be the portable identity network for the institutional finance industry and the operating platform that leverages these identities to create and process institutional financial transactions. Since launching a private beta in 2021 for our fund subscription product, we’ve processed billions in investments and thousands of transactions with leading institutional partners in the digital and traditional asset management space.
About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative Team Lead at Nova, you’ll have the unique opportunity to leverage your past experience and build the SDR team of your dreams. You are used to delivering value in complex situations and are energized by learning about new and existing products. Finally, you enjoy building – you like to actively participate in the development of Nova’s GTM strategy, refining our value proposition to each industry vertical, and collaborating with the marketing team on creating sales enablement.
We take a data driven, analytical approach to sales development, and are looking for someone who is confident in both prospecting to customers and in helping design our strategy. If you’re hungry, persistent, and a great teammate, we want to hear from you!
You Will
Work with the Account Executive team to identify high-potential businesses, verticals and markets, and develop and execute on outbound strategies
Develop and lead campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified calls and determine how best to scale them
Follow up with Marketing generated leads to qualify as sales opportunities. Move solid leads through the funnel connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging meetings
Build, manage, and train the SDR team
Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for scaled and bespoke interactions with prospects
Initiate contact with potential customers by responding to inquiries generated from Marketing
Follow-up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not initially result in a sales opportunity
Effectively work through lead list meeting/exceeding SLAs, consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support weekly reporting efforts
Collaborate and provide feedback and insights to Marketing to help improve targeting and messaging
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
1+ years of sales/technology experience
A track record of top performance or prior success
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest in technology
Self starter who is able to operate in a hyper growth environment
Prior Start-up sales experience a huge plus
Desire to lead and grow a team of top performers
